Caring for Creation - 5th Sept and 3rd Oct

Bible study on caring for creation

A series of one-hour Bible studies known as “Tenants of the King” will be running on the first Wednesday of each month.

5th September and 3rd October

These Bible studies are ideal for the season of Creationtide. This is a new Bible-based and Jesus-centred resource. You may remember back in 2004 when Sir David King warned that: “Climate change is a bigger threat to the world than international terrorism and without immediate action various threats such as flooding, drought, hunger and debilitating diseases such as malaria will hit millions of people around the world.”

We are confident this series produced by Operation Noah will help us to respond with hope to one of today’s greatest challenges. Each person will receive a study guide booklet for reference during the meetings. The Bible study sessions are to be enhanced by interviews on DVD featuring well known Christian environmentalists. Please join us if you can at Cowley Rectory on the followingWednesdays at 7.30pm (7.15pm if you'd like a drink before) ending at 8.45pm with prayers.

If interested, then please contact the Revd Arthur (01242 870402). We have enough booklets available for anyone who missed the first session on 4th July to be able to catch up.
