Environmental Justice Network
The purposes of the network are to encourage reflection and action on environmental issues (especially in relation to a just and fair world) among Gloucestershire Christians; to support and encourage local Christians who are concerned about the environment; to provide an information exchange and to facilitate co-ordination of initiatives.
The diocese was founded during the English Reformation on 3 September 1541. The current diocesan Bishop of Gloucester, Rachel Treweek (the first female diocesan bishop in the Church of England), is assisted by the Bishop suffragan of Tewkesbury Robert Springett.)
