We invite you to donate

This year so many of our regular Sunday Services have been missed although worship has continued via Facebook, YouTube and more recently Zoom.

As some services inside our lovely old buildings are set to resume, the Clergy are aware that many of you are unable to attend due to shielding, disability or caring for loved ones. In a time, where cashless giving is now actively encouraged, we have set up several donation pages* as a convenient, secure and quick way of making your offering to God and the work of the cparish church.

One of the central tenets of the Christian faith is to ‘Love God – and love your neighbour’. During this year of lockdown there have been many examples of neighbours showing love, maybe by shopping or picking up prescriptions or making donations to foodbanks. Despite this we know that some people have really struggled due to the Pandemic and are in a desperate financial situation. So, we have set up a Benefice Hardship Fund to allow us to respond quickly to urgent need. The fund will operate confidentially but be overseen by clergy and churchwardens. We have already received some contributions to start the fund but would welcome any donation you could make.
