Many thanks to everyone who continues to contribute to our communal recycling of dental products and printer cartridges via the box in the porch at St Peter's Church, Stratton.
Below is confirmation of the products which are currently accepted by Terracycle/ Colgate:
- toothbrushes and outer packaging
- toothpaste tubes and caps, and cartons
- electric and battery toothbrush HEADS
Please note that interdental brushes and battery toothbrushes are not accepted. We also do not collect batteries. The latter can be recycled within the boxes for fortnightly collections by Cotswold District Council, or in special containers in supermarkets.
“Recycle 4 Charity,” who recycle printer cartridges, only now accept specific branded inkjet models. They pay small sums to St Peter’s for these. However, please keep contributing and I will find ways to recycle any they won’t accept.
