On 'Ride and Stride' day - Saturday 11th September - you can take part in a beautiful walk starting from St Margaret’s Church, Bagendon, at 10am. To avoid the need for sponsors, each walker is asked to donate £15 to participate. A picnic lunch will also be on offer at St Margaret's between 12 noon and 2pm for all Ride & Stride participants from across the Diocese.
In St Giles, Elkstone, there will be a full peal attempt between 10am and 1pm to give thanks for 40 years of the GHCT. Do come along and listen for a time.
In Coberley, refreshments will be available, and Margaret will be in church between 11am and 1pm if anyone would like to find out more about the history of St Giles and its churchyard. Between 11am and 3pm, Stanley Robinson will be displaying his interesting collection of radio-controlled models, some of which may be on sale.
