One of the most enjoyable aspects of living and working here in the Churn Valley is the convenience of being able to set off walking for an hour or two in any direction along a network of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes.
As regular readers of Parish Link magazine will know, throughout 2019 our Editor, Corinna Bramley, made space for a series of articles describing local walks. By the end of the year Parish Link had featured the “Churn Valley Way” (awaiting official recognition) which runs from Seven Springs to Cirencester as well as circular walks in each of our nine parishes. The booklet is available in each parish church and/or by completing an order form.
In response to requested from friends and neighbours, the Revd Arthur led a series of "virtual walks" during 2020. They took the form of Zoom calls with informal conversations before and after the slide show. All ten talks are available below:
