This year so many of our regular Sunday Services have been missed, although worship has continued via Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
As services inside our lovely old buildings resume in April, the Clergy are aware however that some of you will be unable to attend church for a little while yet. In a time where cashless giving is now actively encouraged, we have set up some easy methods* by which you can make a donation to a number of the churches in the Churn Valley Benefice, and also to the Benefice Hardship Fund. As you may recall from the article in the March edition of Parish Link (p9), the Hardship fund has been set up in response to the devastating economic impact the pandemic has had on some people in our communities.
Going forward it is hoped the fund will enable the church to respond quickly to those in urgent need of financial support in the Churn Valley Benefice. It will operate confidentially but be overseen by clergy and churchwardens. Thank you for any help you feel able to give.
Please visit the 'We invite you to donate' page of the website for easy access to quick methods of online giving to the Hardship Fund and the different churches in the CVB.
